$62 mil really doesn’t make you rich by SEC standards.

2022:

Georgia Budget: 1.79 billion

Mizzou budget: 2.2 billion

Correct we're richer than you as a whole system and have identical endowments on top of that. We just now are starting to spend it on athletics over the last decade in a fashion we had not previously.

So, after some further research, this is a weird flex:

1. The gap is likely larger than this. UGA's #s are from FY 21, Mizz is FY 16.

2. Mizz has significantly higher numbers of professors and support staff. This is the primary reason for the difference

3. Mizz has fewer students and, thus, a better student-teacher ratio than UGA.

4. UGA has more difficult admissions and is generally ranked higher than Mizz academically despite all these apparent advantages.

TLDR - it's six one way half a dozen the other.
