I don’t get it when people say that they want to get rid of the NCAA. Get rid of the NCAA and replace it with what? An association of all of the colleges and universities in the US with sports teams to set up rules that everyone is supposed to follow? That’s what the NCAA is. The NCAA is just all the schools.

I will guarantee you that if you allowed the most vocal critic of the NCAA a chance to describe their vision for a regulatory body they would describe the NCAA in its entirety.
