Do you think Napier will be the coach for that year?

Napier is done, he's a dead man walking, he hasn't already been fired because of his buyout. After another year, it becomes affordable, and Florida is and has been scouting other coaches for his replacement. He'd have to win 10 games for the aau to keep him. I don't think he'll even make it through the season to even have the opportunity to win 10. Florida will want to be in the coaching carousel early.

Best chance to get one will have to come from UGA. Any good assistants ready to be a HC? Maybe Will Muschamp will come back for a second time around tour starting at Florida.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say again. Dave Clawson is guy Florida needs to hire. He’s been at Wake for 10 years and while not a splash hire with UF recruiting and resources he would be a tremendous hire. Florida does it’s best when they have a offensive scheme that stands out and the Clawffense would give them an edge with the athletes they recruit in Florida. Clawson has consistently gotten Wake Forest to blow games with no resources, no fan support, and recruiting support. At Florida he would be a home run hire for a program that’s struggled to make good hires (it took the Vols a while to get the right guys in place too).

I think if he won 8-9 that might be enough. Especially with the schedule he's facing. But 10 wins would definitely ensure another year for him.
