I imagine it's going to be Sheppard. He was the co-oc and passing game coordinator at Purdue when they had a great passing game, and he was the passing game coordinator at Washington under deboer. Sheridan has also been an oc at indiana, but they didn't go so hot, partly because penix was injured and they had no QB. Also Kirby Moore could be an option, but my guess is they will promote from within. Sheppard makes sense

Do those of y’all focusing on “optics” really believe that a first time NFL HC is making his OC hiring decision around a portal window timeline at only one college?

That’s not how hiring people works.
