This is contradictory to the statement given by the AD in this thread. They had access to all of those and reviewed them and found nothing.

The NCAA has access as well and believes there is something.

As history has shown us, saying "We thought it's okay" is not a defense that works for a school when dealing with a violation.

If the NCAA finds the school was supposed to suspend a player for a pay for play NIL deal and failed to do so, the NCAA is supposed to sanction the school.

The AD's opinion doesn't matter.

And the reality is nobody is actually trying to claim that Nico wasn't paid to attend UT. They're just trying to claim that it's okay to do so.

The NCAA bylaws are quite clear that it's not okay.
