He went 3-4-1 against Stallings, Fran, and Saban.

He went 7-1 against Dubose and Shula.

His record was good. He definitely made the most of the poor coaches we had during his tenure.

That makes sense. Dubose and Shula weren't Bama's best years that's for sure.

Couldn’t you say the same about Saban and poor Tennessee coaches? The all time series record was pretty close pre Saban
