Bass are no longer edible in Georgia.

They have parasites in their heart, lungs, and intestinal system.

Deer have it too.

It's gross. I miss the days, baws.

Bass are one of the best eating fish there are, Alabama rivers have tasty Bass.

Not even close to true. Bass are big bream, sunfish, they breed like fleas and are delicious. Eating a LM bass caught in the Chattahoochee River at 6 Flags is healthier than eating a free range organic chicken from Whole Foods.

Those parasites pose no risk to humans as long as you cook the fish properly.

The only danger to eating wild caught fish is high mercury levels in some contaminated bodies of water.
