“Some of the alleged illegal gaming took place while he was an LSU player, investigators allege. However, a source familiar with the case said Boutte never bet “against himself” and his actions in LSU games. In other words, he is not accused of throwing a game.
Boutte turned himself in on charges of Computer Fraud, a felony, and a misdemeanor count of Gaming Prohibited for Persons under 21.”

Glad he didn't come to Bama after all then. Might have clouded the judgement for the color of his charger. lol.

Riiiiight not even close to the same as Bama’s baseball coach betting against his own team when there starting pitcher got hurt.
If you watched Boutte in 2022, he probably bet the over for himself on total dropped passes. Dude sucked in 2022 and after he left we had the best offense in the country.

No. He was betting using inside information. That's a good way to get federal time, especially since it's almost guaranteed he used an app. They'll get him on interstate wire fraud, too.

As an LSU fan, all I care about at this point is he didn’t do anything to give us or himself an advantage.
Boutte seems like the kid of guy that thinks rules and the law don’t apply to him. Tough way to learn a lesson but he deserves whatever punishment he gets.
