Auburn fans are still celebrating because apparently Lanning, Sark and Norvell all turned Bama down. DeBoer was our 4th choice.

They call him Husky Harsin. DeBoer and Harsin are such lazy comparisons and wishful thinking. It’s not remotely the same. Also Harsin failed because he was at Auburn and had zero booster support. DeBoer is at Alabama with a loaded roster. Full support. Big difference. DeBoer actually builds programs as well. Harsin was gifted Boise St and only made them worse.

They have a full dedicated thread to both of our coaches. They have cute nicknames for DeBoer and Nate. They have more interest in rooting on Bama’s downfall than they have interest in rooting on Auburn.

Man I hope we beat them this Wednesday. The melt will be glorious.

Auburn folks comparing the DeBoer hire to Harsin is just nonsense. They were DESPERATE for a coach and he was DESPERATE to get out of Boise. It was a marriage of convenience where neither the really wanted the other to begin with. Harsin just couldn't get a job out west. That is much different than a playoff level coach excited to take on arguably the greatest challenge in coaching history, following Nick Saban smh.

Same fans that swore CNS wouldn't last 3 seasons at Bama bc he would chase the $$$$.

How'd that work out for them...AND..how many coaches did they go thru during CNS's time at Bama.

They probably paying a billion dollars a year just in buyouts for all the coaches that passed thru their program.
