I hated recruiting ratings when I had to cover them and I hate them now. They are subjective numbers designed to get either cash or clicks from obsessive compulsives. A star rating doesn’t tell you a damn thing about what’s in a player’s heart, guts and gonads. And you can have “5 star” physical tools but if you don’t have those attributes too, you’re worthless.
