No one will be able to adapt to such a shite show as the NIL they have in place.

He could have, but didn't want to.

Wouldn't surprise me. He's a football guy, not necessarily a businessman. That might have been why he was unsuccessful in the NFL. X's and O's are his forte, not dealing with the day-to-day and season-to-season minutiae of players' contract management.

Adapt, do you even understand what those threatening to sues goal was? They do not care about anything else but getting the money which is what builds the stadiums, that pays for all the other sports etc. etc. and giving it to young men who you then can not coach, or correct, or get on to, because they will threaten to go to another school.

People like you are clueless about what's coming. Within 10 years this sport will not be worth watching. I quit watching in 2020,I saw what was coming, I am a much bigger fan (or was) then 99 percent on here, both in Tuscaloosa, ca tell you every score from the 1920s on, Bama's 1925, 26, 30 and 34 teams went 39-0-1 in total winning 3 Rose Bowls and tying 1, outscoring opponents 1133 to 111, with 27 shutouts.

I was in trouble as a 13 year old youth, playing with fire we burn something like fools, or my buddy did, and the Judge who was a Bama grad couldn't believe I knew al the scores and stats and names of players from the 20s and 30s so he let me off with no probation, my buddy admitted it was him, but hell I set in the judges office all day, we became friends eve though he was in his late 40s until he died recently.

So, I now college football, and not just Bama, I have books on the history of football, how a president had to step in because it became so violent. How if 5 defenders could carry you back 20 yards, that is where you were down at, no forward progress, how you had to actually touch the football down in the end zone or you did not get a TD. The year the forward pass came in 1913.

So, I am a true fan, unlike most, I understand the value of a scholarship. Take away the scholarships and make them pay their own way, those threatening to sue would have sit down and shut up.

By the way, I heard this inside scoop because I have first cousins who work in the sports department. I said this 3 days ago on the Bama board and people thought I was crazy. I use LOGIC..........Why does a coach interview a WR coach in the morning and step down at night? Its obvious to me, and I do not blame coach Saban, I would deal with this BS either.

No one here will even care about CFB in 10 years, mark my words. Its become a JOKE.

Say what you want, no one has adapted more than coach Saban, every team has followed his blueprint, just buying players isn't coaching or recruiting. Ask Kirby Smart he has done nothing on his own. All his coaches have been vetted by Nick Saban first. Not adapting, and giving in two players desire, who only won the money are different. You don't like Nick Saban and I understand, he's probably kicked your teens brains in for a decade and a half.
