Whatever the case and no matter who was hired, it was going to happen at some point. Saban could not coach forever.

Let's give De Boer at least 2 weeks LOL.

Unfortunately in this new era of transfer portal and NIL I think ALL programs are going to go through this at some point.

LSU fans feel your pain in every way. We have been through this and saw first hand how hard it is replacing Saban. I think the irony is lost on most Bama fans. There might be another Saban out there but he isn’t coaching in college yet

To what flatten the curve? Saban fricked Alabama, why wasn't there a hand picked coach in waiting if retirement was in the cards? a smooth transition, so to speak? I believe he said frick it, I'm out.
