Never? That’s a misconception of the school’s origins. A&M only really took off in the 1980s-1990s. Facilities weren’t anywhere close to the competition back then.
Definitely has been a different level since the SEC jump.

Aggies lost a coach, and didn't have a great year.
They have lots of transfers.
How can that not be a potential huge positive?
It's going to be fun to see who makes the most of the portal.
