It is real and it is a tragedy. Looking at the Alabama message boards, you can see the debilitating effects of PTSD on an entire fan base.
Someone get Sarah McLachlan to do a commercial STAT. These people need emergency assistance yesterday.
I am very much looking forward to who will be in the lineup for the Bama-Aid concert.

A great program was able to win a National Championship 3 years after Saban left. Anyone actually think the Gumps can do the same?

If you're used to your team being led by Saban who is universally considered a GOAT coache, why wouldn't you be out of sorts?

Some of the primary symptoms appear to be:
- Threatening to give up on college football entirely because it's not 'fun' anymore, or it's 'not fair.'
- Deciding it's good that 5 Star recruits are leaving, because you only want players who 'want to play for Alabama.'
- Forgetting entirely how Saban used to raid players from other schools.
- Complaining that being a college football fan is 'hard.'
- Actually blaming Saban for retiring.
I'm sure there are other symptoms, but the above seem to be a recurring theme of PTSD.

Love how opposing fans have to gloat about our team losing good players instead of their team actually beating us
