Kane is not afraid to make changes if things don't go well. Fired half the assistants after the bowl game. Kept Major Applewhite though. Jags season was a big disappointment from his pre-season expectation.

This is a solid hire from an on field coaching standpoint. Only unknown is high level recruiting success. Confident from being around him at gatherings here, that he will do fine.
