I see where Kane Wommack seems to be a front runner for the Alabama DC position

He's a former Razorback that transferred to Southern Miss.
Dude has improved nearly every year.
Would be a good hire.

Yeah he would be a good one for sure. Hate him leaving South, since I graduated from there and live in the Mobile area, but ototh Bama would be getting a heck of a coach.

Even if this guy is all world would he be the type of guy that would give up a current head coaching gig to be a Coordinator?

He took the Jaguars into Stillwater and whipped Oklahoma State's arse, 33-7.

I guess that's his decision, but he would likely make more money at Bama and if he's successful he could use it as a spring board to a better HC position than USA.

Yeah the reason I ask is some guys are less into money and would rather be the guy in charge. Bama doesn’t have time to waste on coaches that is already a head coach tbh. They need to get a good DC asap and kind of settle these players down some.

Not sure but he only makes like $800k so Bama could easily double his salary.
He's also coming off a 7-6 year so maybe he's looking to make a move.
I think if DeBoer were a more established coach, it's a no brainer but that may be a hold up as well.

I grew up in Mobile and have a soft spot for USA, but it's not a good place to be if you have aspirations for a better HC job.

This is an easy alter to figure out, lol.

Well I never have heard of this guy tbh. To show you how far behind I am I thought Joey Jones was still coach at South Bama lol.

I've been thinking he's an under the radar choice for the Arkansas job, this would probably cement him.

It's easy to get stuck in a job like that if you aren't performing very, very well.

Playing in the Natty is pretty established.
