What is the goal? Or, what did Malzahn not accomplish?

It was maddening watching him coach. Sure he’d beat Saban as often as he lost to him. But he couldn’t win on the road. And he had a knack for somehow always beating Alabama right after losing to Waterloo High School. He never tried to adapt once he figured out that folks had caught on to his offense. That and the whirlybird 3 QB rotation during games

Compete for championships year in year out. He only did it 2 out of 8 years and was trending down. Lost 4 games in one of those years too. Losing to Georgia so many times didn’t help his cause either.

He got 8 years to build a program and we weren’t where we wanted to be. I don’t really know why that’s so hard to understand.
