I'm not sure I trust your ability to do basic math if you think 16-7 is "a little better" than 15-14 (and Bryant was 15-12-2, not 15-14).

Your numbers seem to imply that Saban was, in fact, REALLY good in bowl games.

I also note that you are only including the playoff championship games; Saban was in fact 6-3 in title games (7-3 if you include his NC season at LSU).

Saban was 12-4 in bowl games (including CFP title games) since the playoff era started.

If your argument is that having a great record in bowl games trumps overall record, then these two tied for #2 must be AMAZING, GOAT coaches:
