Travaris best attribute is his ability to recruit. I definitely think he can help retain talent. However, I’m not 100% sold on his play calling abilities.

As DC at South Carolina his defense was

2016: 53rd
2017: 25th
2018: 68th
2019: 53rd
2020: 108th

He is opposite of Phil Parker who routinely has great defenses but you may question his recruiting.

You can't really look at SC days.. considering who he was coaching under. They had some good moments that season. Robinson definitely has called good games this year, but his main issue is the run game.

Yeah, I mean, I'd get on board with it, but I think giving him the keys to the defense would be a questionable (at best) move. I'd get behind it, and I really like TRob as a locker room guy and DB coach, but there's not a lot to indicate that he'd get the results we want from the defense.
