People don't mind tough taskmasters in leadership positions. But, when you start making bad decisions you lose credibility. Saban made a lot of bad decisions after Sark left. Sark was masking a lot of ineptitude.

Refused to put Isiah Bond on kick returns even after Bond said in a press conference he'd start returning kicks and he'd been practicing for such.

Yes, they do mind tough taskmasters at any level. Saban demanded work round the clock and year round, as do most ultra successful coaches. People get burned out and when they find out they can get paid the same amount of money for less work they take advantage of it.

Just my opinion.
