Next fall will be my first fall semester to experience football as an actual student at the University of Alabama and I was anticipating that it would be under Saban (first day of classes this past week was a gut punch lmao) but I’m honestly looking forward to seeing what DeBoer does, and I’m actually surprised at how lowkey excited I am about it. Maybe it’s just my weird coping mechanism for Saban leaving, being too in denial that everything is “over” after being spoiled rotten. By that same token, I understand the frustration of some fans, and it’s valid — the GOAT is retiring, those days are over now, but I also can’t discount how much potential is on the table right now, in spite of the sucky circumstances of players leaving, etc.
anyway, I’ll probably go back to lurking full time soon, but for years now this forum was just a fun place to read. lol full disclosure: it was me, my brother and a few other kids involved in the making of this account years ago now that I think about it, I bet that 100% goes against the terms and conditions that we absolutely did not read or care about (ban me now, LMAO) Best memory was my sister logging on and leaving a comment and being told by an LSU fan she needed to grow up and be a real man. Truly goes to show that you never know who you’re talking to online.
