DeBoer didn’t recruit as good as Lanning, Sark, or Riley. He was 6-0 against them. This obsession with recruiting rankings is really bizarre when you have a sample size like that.

He had a Heisman level QB for two seasons and the Pac-12 is a cakewalk in general.

Texas isn’t in the PAC. That doesn’t explain how he was able to beat programs that out recruited him. Riley also had a Heisman winning QB. Something isn’t quite right so either the recruiting rankings were wrong or DeBoer just might be able to coach. Which is it?

He also took a team full of Washington recruits and beat Texas.

Anything that's not Saban is a downgrade, but if I were an Alabama fan I'd be pretty happy.

And who got him to come to Washington and made him a Heisman level QB?

Was it a cakewalk for any team not named Washington? Arizona, ASU, Stanford, UCLA, etc, etc, etc, etc...was it a cakewalk for them?
