So this makes sense. Nick wanted DeBoers OC, but he wouldn't come. So when Nick retires - he wanted DeBoer.

What's kind of interesting about DeBoer is that he has a record of 17-2 in the NAIA playoffs, so he's already got experience with a playoff system for football

I mean, we might have a replacement for the GOAT in less than 2 days. Byrne has no doubt kept a list of choices. He knew Kirby wasn't coming back. One reason it's seemed stressful or chaotic is because phones and social media have ruined your dopamine production.
