Lanning is way too emotional, ergo, the opposite of Nick Saban who says to do things with emotion but not emotionally.

Nick Saban showed no fire this year.

Knew he was going to retire

Most 37 year olds are more emotional than 72 year olds when it comes to work.

Othello, who do you want?

Newsflash - whoever you say, they aren’t going to be in Saban’s stratosphere. It’s over.

Everyone, sans Kirby, has risks. Lanning is not proven long term but he checks an awful lot of boxes.

Lanning is too analytical.

He makes decisions based on analytics just like Kiffin and they've both been bitten in the arse by it.

That's easily correctable.
