Michigans ends were the difference. We have pretty average ends in terms of pass rushing ability, they can play the run like a mf though. I would have preferred to be the #4 seed. Washington was a bad matchup, didn’t help that Penix hit every single throw.

If Penix and his WRs played like they did against Texas, it would have been much closer. Maybe even a UW win. Tonight, they were off. Bad throws and drops cost them…

I think the difference is Michigan has an NFL trained D-Coordinator and Texas has a JAG that runs very vanilla blitzing schemes. Plus Michigan has a better DLine.
