To my recollection we didnt have snaps near as bad past couple of years as we did this year.
I bet you a dime bag the snaps weren't worse this year.
The difference was the QB receiving them.
One was 5'11" and the other 6'4".
A low snap to one was right on the money to another.

Maybe but the inaccurate snaps weren't as much of an issue as him snapping it before Milroe clapped, when he wasn’t looking. He was supposed to wait til Milroe claps to snap it and more than a couple of times he snapped it without Milroe clapping and it would sail 15 yards past him cause he wasn't expecting it.

How do explain all those snaps that hit him in ankles?

BY is 5’10” and Milroe is 6’2” on the current roster. But I was thinking the same thing along these lines today…..
1) The height differential between QBs
2) The ability of the QB to understand what is happening on the field before the snap. Meaning not only reading the defense, but also understanding protections, understanding players in motion on offense, the timing of the snap, etc.
BAMA went from an elite QB to an elite athlete at the QB position with questionable field vision. Who has deficiencies beyond fielding bad snaps, that might not be able to be coached out of him.
The regression in the barner game should’ve set off warning bells, but folks seemed to pass over it with 4th & 31 and UGA the next week.
