Just do away with the SEC championship game.
TBH I would like to go to 32 teams and a 10 game season like in FCS and high school football.
The opt outs would stop immediately and most of the bowl games could still be played.

On the one hand I agree.
On the other, if they’re giving byes to the Top 4, winning gets you a bye.
That said, the loser gets the real prize: A Home Playoff Game.
