Wow I just watched it again from the other angle and the right guard runs around the line completely free with no one from michigan to block.

0 is the "read" and he comes upfield to take away the throw. 77 was supposed to block 9 from Michigan. He pulls a little too wide and 9 would have had a chance to make the tackle. The low snap delayed everything and caused the play to fail according to Saban, but it still wasn't blocked perfectly but few plays are.
