No hate just struggle to understand why a defender coming straight at you he cannot see it because he locks in where he wants to go for the pass. Or why he cannot presnap identify that the defense is getting ready to blitz. Why does he hold off on the getting rid of the ball?

I get yall hate running QBs

Quite the contrary. Everyone would love to see a running QB that is effective. The frustrating part with Milroe he has that skill set but gets sacked for more negative yards than he gains.

However we know his shortcomings, so why can't our OC run consist gameplan to accentuate his strengths?

The issue is what are his strengths? He has no vision, no pocket presence, is not very evasive, seems easy to take down for his size a lot of the times, and still lacks the ability to consistently throw short to medium range throws. He also forces the ball into pressure while never looking for his second or third option.

There was one play we needed a first down and instead of keeping it he dumps it off to the RB who got tackled immediately. I am pretty confident if he would of held onto the ball he would got the yards needed. He can not anticipate or adapt to any situation on the field once the play is live.

Maybe that is on the OC and QB coach, but I am not sure any game plan can be created for Milroe so that he has a successful game for 4 quarters.

Why can't our center snap?

This baffles me because it was not something new. I remember one replay last night showed the ball being snapped awful.

I’m a milroe fan but you’re right, what are his strengths? It should at the very least be running but he’s not a good running QB. He was clumsy tonight, tripped, slipped, slowing down for contact, never knows when to run. He said he doesn’t practice his running/scrambling and it shows, dude has no open field skills
