I feel teams that aren’t top 12, are going to play more starters since their starters are less likely to be drafted
Mizzou had a solid team but even if we were playing in the Gator Bowl, I’m almost sure we’d be able to field the same roster we had for the Cotton Bowl. Our best players are either too young (Burden) or not highly regarded enough by NFL scouts (Schrader) to warrant sitting out a bowl game
Teams like FSU, Washington, and Georgia have more guys with high draft status and don’t need a bowl to prove themselves. But those talented teams will make the 12 team playoff
