What’s your excuse for losing to Kansas’ backup QB?

Oklahoma isn’t the same program it was under Barry Switzer and Bob Stoops.

You’re like Nebraska under Pelini.

I get NIL has you scared. OU paid players under the table for decades giving them an advantage. But with NIL, the advantage is gone. Instead you see how Oklahoma is a small state with a small GDP, at a disadvantage. And you see neighboring states with more people, businesses and money. And you wonder how OU will be able to compete now that the money is no longer under the table.

Let’s wait and see how it all plays out. Yes I think Texas and OU will suffer from the week to week grind vs getting up for 1-2 games a year, but we also said that about the Aggies in year 1 and they won 10 games with a Heisman QB

Next year will be tough for everyone. It wouldn’t surprise me to see the two teams in the SECCG both have 2 losses.

Buckle up

Reality:

In the three years since NIL factored in OU has the #8, #5 & #8 singing classes. Take a look at their historical football donations & then realize Barry Switzer founded one of their collectives which assured a minimum of $40k per year to every scholarship football player. Top 10 funded football program year in & year out.

NIL$ is a strength for OU, not the pipedream you are spinning.
