Going 13-0 & & winning your conference isn't considered "best"?

No. Literally never has been. Jesus Christ did y’all just start watching football this year? Plenty of undefeated conference winners have been left out in the last.

Champion" , 2004 Auburn.
Just trying to be helpful.
