By that logic Mack Brown, Shrimp Boat Ed, and Gene Chizik would all be better options as well since they've won championships in the past.

Dabo likely would’ve won 4 NC’s if not for Saban and Alabama barely beating them twice in the NC game.

The coaches you mentioned won one fluke NC because they had generational QBs. Nothing about any of Dabo’s 2 NC’s or his 4 NC game appearances were a fluke.

So Vince Young, Cam Newton, and Joe Burrow were flukes but Happy Ending and Sunshine weren't? I mean we have plenty of evidence to know what a Dabo team without great QB play looks like, and it looks like a team that would not contend for a spot in the playoffs against an SEC schedule. Kiffin has won 10+ in the SEC with Matt Corral and Jaxson Dart, who are both firmly in the good not great category of QBs.
