This system has created more parody for everyone. Also what if those few state recruits have Julio jones/Devonta smith level talent? I'm speaking about people being absolutely blind or dismissive of the changing college football landscape. I've seen Bama fans who behave like Bama will just keep winning championships at the same pace as they did the last 15 years. I disagree

1. It’s parity, not parody
2. I’m not entrenched in the view that Bama doesn’t pay, takes whichever recruits they want, and is guaranteed future championships. Additionally, I’m not of the belief that a Top 10 recruiting class will turn AU into Goliath. Taking Bama to the wire in a rivalry game doesn’t mean AU is on their way to an elite program with sustained excellence. AU fans are cherry picking arguments. You lost to New Mexico State. Arkansas almost came back to beat Bama. TN murdered Bama in the first half. This Bama team has been inconsistent. A near loss and a Top 10 class is not the turning point you think it is. Your program is headed in a better direction than years past. Be happy with that.

I would argue that the current system has created less parity across the board. Yes until NIL and transfer portal as it is today maybe 5 programs each year got the majority of top talent with the rest spread across the country. But now many programs that before could land a decent class because they can win 9 or 10 games and go to a decent bowl no longer will because programs with a lot of financial resources will grab those recruits even when their program can barely break .500. So no there is less parity in CFB now than ever before as we are headed towards two super conferences where over half the teams in DI will no longer be a factor.

How? NIL is not new this year nor is the transfer portal. Yet UA once again is in the playoffs with a great chance to win another NC. We were almost there last year and with 12 teams coming next year I would wager as long as Saban is at UA we will be in the playoffs.
