Ya because when I have a rival the first thing I want to do is prop them up.

You don't need to worry about that. You're completely irrelevant as an institution. There's literally nothing Missouri could do to "prop up" basketball blueblood Kansas.

It's not just one of the oldest rivalries, but the most unique because of the ancient open air stadium located on the Texas state fair grounds. The only way to really ensure we can keep it going is to be in the same conference. Yes it began when BloU was in the Big 8 (or 6, whatever) and Texas SWC, but things were simpler back then and in the early days TV broadcasts weren't the big multi-million dollar deals they are now.
