Saturday and it actually look like the fans were excited to be there. Anyone catch the pathetic ACC game or the big east. Not even the Big 12 was even close.

Great atmoshpere for a game. Way to represent the SEC. Made me mad that LSU was home but I know we will be back sooner than later.

The good thing about the SEC game is that even when its two mediocre teams, it still is an awesome event. Probably better overall experience than a bowl game.

The stands were about 60% full at best. Most of them looked to be Tech fans but man what a shame. The SEC championship could be played in Idaho and there would be more fans than that.

acc and big 12 title games looked like shite compared to the sec title game. that is always nice to see a good football game and a sold out crowd

They played the SEC championship game twice in Iraq, and only played the other championship games once. GEAUX SEC!

Sad thing is they played the ACC championship game in Tampa which is about 1000 miles away from the closet school in it.

BC fans don't travel well at all. I've seen it first hand. I bet about 90% of the fans there were Va Tech fans.

Big Easy doesn't have a championship game.

ACC has been awful the last few seasons at least, I think. Didn't they only have 40-50K last season in Jacksonville?

I haven't really kept up with baseball lately, or since we hired Cohen. I've heard we are recruiting well though. I would imagine we will be young this season and will struggle to have a winning season, but you never know.

The stands were 30% full and combined Tech and BC sold 5,000 tickets. The Big 12 was not a sell either with a short communte for both MO and OK fans. The SEC Title Game is the marquee game.

You would think that the Big 12 would play their game in a dome in SA, HOU or STL instead of outdoors in KC.

It rotates every year, and has in the past been played in SA, Houston, and St. Louis. Next year will be at the new Cowboys stadium in Dallas.

Great game with two excellent teams. Florida had the better offense which was the difference. Very difficult to hold the Gators to less than 5 TDs. It was a very well played game. Both teams are obviously talented and well coached. Very few penalties or mistakes of any kind. Just two good teams leaving it all on the field. /salute

It was one of the best played SECCG ever. Both teams played near flawless football.

The discipline on both teams was amazing. I am jealous.

This pretty much says it all about the ACCCG:

"Boston College and Virginia Tech combined to sell only about 5,000 of their combined 20,000 ticket allotment."

BC is notorious for not traveling well but VT usually does. Pretty sad to see this. ACCCG
