Question regarding bowl game tickets

Looking at purchasing bowl game tickets for the Auburn game. Are the smaller bowl games similar to march madness, where you can buy a cheaper ticket, but can take a better seat because most of the seats are empty?

I would recommend you stay home instead of watching the Music City Bowl. Going to Nashville and watching Auburn vs Maryland could make you go blind.

On a more serious note music city bowl usually sells pretty well no matter who is playing.. Probably can find tickets below face on third party websites but fees eat you up.

Couple ideas. Last minute will be cheaper if game is far from fans. 2-3 days is kind of a sweet spot.
I know a UT grad who buys cheap tickets and then finds seats still for sale online to sit in.

Allotments are much smaller than they used to be due to streamlined online sales. This benefits everyone except low to mid tier donors.
