FSU was ranked above both Alabama and Texas by this same committee, even after the starting QB went down. ALL YEAR LONG.

Neither Alabama or Texas really have much of an argument to be honest. This is all UGA's fault for losing to Bama in the Championship game.

As hard as this is for some people to do, the committee is supposed to start with a clean slate every week. Do they? Proably not, they aren't smart enough. Do I think they put the best four in? No, but politically they did.

The best four teams right now are:

1. Texas
2. Alabama
3. Georgia
4. Michigan/Washington

Texas is going to destroy Washington, and Alabama will probably win by at least 10. Its the same shite every year, and the 12 team playoff is really going to start pissing people off.

So it's more of a UGA loss than a Bama win? This says a lot about your point of view on the matter.

This is the crux of the matter, in my opinion. The committee kept kicking the can down the road after the Travis injury, hoping the decision would be made for them via an FSU loss at some point.

When that didn't happen, they had to make the call they SHOULD have made earlier, and it blew up. It was plain to see FSU with Travis was a legitimate contender for the championship ... just as it was plain to see FSU WITHOUT Travis was a vastly different team.

Your comments regarding collusion and the discovery process via a lawsuit are ridiculous. The committee followed their published criteria in selecting the playoff teams. I think most rational football fans understand the thought process behind the decision; the issue is when that decision was made.
