Hard to believe this is sincere and not some kind of trap, but appreciate the sentiment and it’s objectively true.
The program was completely broken and gutted by the time Coach O left. There as still talent, but only 37 players left and two years of dysfunction had us on the brink of the abyss. To go 19-7 over the next two years, win the SEC West, and have a Heisman winner was beyond a miracle. If we hadn’t had an all time pathetic defense …
That said, I have no idea what year 3 holds. If we go 9-3 again, I’ll be pretty pumped for 2025. But, we could also fall off a cliff. Without Daniels, this might be a 5-7 or 6-6 team this year. So, who knows?
