Does this ML mean that it pays $500 for every $100 bet on Florida State to beat Georgia?
And if that's the case, isn't that really appealing, what gives? Why is that line so unbalanced?

Because it's going to be a bloodbath.

Yes. Because UGA is favored to win the game.

Have you watched the two teams play this year? Specifically, have you watched FSU play the last couple of weeks?
They weren’t great with a healthy starting QB against one of the worst schedules in P5. Now they’re playing with a backup against arguably the most talented team in the country.
They gone get raped.

If it's a negative number, think "to win 100 dollars" after whatever negative number you're looking at. If it's a positive number, put "bet 100 dollars to win" before whatever number you're looking at.
The other best thing to remember is don't start betting on football. I wish I'd never started lol.

Assuming Georgia doesn't have alot of key opt outs, it should be brutal. I would hope they're like Bama's team that missed the CFP and played in the Sugar Bowl last year. A guy like Bryce Young playing while a projected top draft pick said a lot about him and the team culture.
A major bowl like the Sugar or Orange still isn't the Weed eater Bowl or something.

Thanks, moved from Alabama to Florida a couple years ago. Just have never placed a bet.
Was my understanding it was illegal in Alabama. Is it legal in Florida?
Any suggestions on where I can/should place a bet of it's legal here in Florida? On line, a casino? Lol, I've never even been in a casino, but there's a Seminole Casino close to my house. Always a first time if that's the case.
Appreciate the advice.

I mean if you can afford to lose it — because you likely will — it could be a nice sneaker bet. Never underestimate a highly motivated team against a team that doesn’t want to be there.

If you are considering placing a bet on FSU to win that game, you can send that money to a charity of your choice. If you’re going to donate money, I figure you’d feel better about it if it went to a worthy cause.

Oh I completely agree that Georgia should win easily, but am thinking Georgia might have a lot of players abandon them, and have seen how not winning affected Alabama in the past after winning so much, the let down of not achieving their goal.
Something to ponder.

Was thinking of doing just the hundred, just to get the experience. Have an addictive personality and know betting would never work out for me.
Was truly just stunned by the numbers with all the "Florida State got robbed" chatter. Surly more people would believe the crap they have been posting here and on social media.
But alas it's just the usual Anybody but Bama canard.

Seriously. There are a bunch of new posters who think it’s a race to be the first to post the douchiest comment in every thread these days. Time to start culling the herd.

Just be sure to hedge that ML bet with the +14 spread
My rule of thumb is to actually make the underdog ML 1/3 of my line (spread) wager
So if I was making your FSU ML bet for $100, I would take FSU +14 for $330 to win $300

If you think State has a good chance of winning, place the bet for as much as you can spare. After all, turning 10K into 50K is much better than making $400.

It's just bizarre. I don't get it either.
