OL Adam Cushing
Damn. I'm not sure how he did at Duke, but I do remember his OL not being good during his last few years at Northwestern.
Elko should have spent more money on this position. OL is crucial.

Definitely don't have to worry about him taking over as HC

Cushing finishes with a 3-26 head coaching record, recording just one win in each of his seasons at Eastern Illinois

Sounds like BGA will be staying, I am guessing as safeties coach

seems strange hes filling out the position coaches before the coordinators. already got those in line, just waiting to announce?

This is what I've always thought, too; but if you think about a change at OC in the middle of a tenure, they don't immediately get rid of all position coaches and let the new coordinator pick a whole new staff. So i guess it can make sense that your original hires are not dictated by your choice of coordinator.

I think there’s a strong idea as far as coordinators go. In the case of DC I think we know who it is

Who do we think the DC is?

Collin Klein for OC make any waves for yall?

That's a hire I would like. Collin seems like he is out to make a name for himself. He's not some old retread that is stuck running an outdated offense. He was a smart guy on the field and knew how to run that K-State offense as a player. He took over a bad offense and made them top 25 in two years.

I really like how you can see him change what they do even within a game to take advantage of the defense they are facing. Considering the oompaloompas they have playing receiver, their passing stats are pretty amazing

Not sure. Just heard that he was about to be finalized

Trooper Taylor new RB coach?

Klein will stay max 3 seasons, and then go to a HC job.

Great outcome for us if that’s how it plays out

I assume he's referring to Scott Symons

Tommy Moffitt hired as Strength & Conditioning coach. Previously at LSU forever (unemployed the last 2 years after they hired Brian Kelly)

He’s one of the best. Some may say the GOAT
definitely played a part in some of our best years. Our athletes were just different. Miles was the one who wanted our linebackers to be tiny and fast while O wanted them huge. At the end of the day he has to give the coach what he wants
The “game has passed him by” stuff isn’t all true tho i have no doubt he’s modernized his approach over the last couple years hes been out of the game.
