Alabama got in because they beat the B2B defending national champs to win the SEC while navigating a top 10 SOS to get the job done.

I'm sure those things were factors but the majority of the reason FSU didn't get in was because of Travis' injury, per the committee.

With a healthy Travis, FSU is at 3, Texas at 4, and Alabama at 5.

No argument. Well, I would argue Georgia over Texas.

And let's not forget we are letting the cheaters in. Their damn coach was suspended in six of this year's games. That is the definition of DAMN

You can believe what you like, I don't believe they'd have left the SEC champs without a seat at the CFP table. The committee is made up of 13 members, 5 of them are ACC affiliated, and they still made the decision to give Texas and Bama a seat while bumping Michigan to #1 with their weak SOS.

Probably, but that didn't happen.. With 4 spots for 5 P% conferences the only surprising thing is that this hasn't happened before. A precedent was going to be broken either way:

1. No undefeated P5 conference champion has been left out.
2. The SEC champion has never been left out.

The bottom line is that after watching FSU's offense in it's last 2 games, no one on the committee thought they had a chance to win it all, ala TCU last year.
