It's worked out okay (so far), but I honestly think Drake Maye not coming here threw a huge wrench in our long-term QB plans.

Not to say he would've been some elite talent, but when he flipped after committing in 2019, I believe it threw our staff into chaos.

It does make you wonder if HE feels like he made the right decision.

Oh well... he's done pretty good. Was in the Heisman talks pre-season, IIRC.

He's #8 in YPG nationally, but passer rating is 36th. Don't think this season has exactly done wonders for his draft stock.
