Whatever committee did was make both the regular season and even Power 5 conference championship games meaningless.

If the games are meaningless, why isn't Georgia or Ohio St in the CFP?

Let me clarify, the committee made it clear that some games matter while others don’t. Basically the committee functions like Bama fans; they chose an outcome they want then justify it with things that support that outcome while ignoring those facts that don’t. Then they ignore their own contradictions. There is no consistency past the narrative.

I can at least excuse Bama fans in this regard. Yes, they’re making complete asses of themselves. But at least they have the excuse of being fans, and this naturally biased. The committee though is supposed to be neutral.

They showed yesterday though they’re not neutral.

The committee turned this into the ESPN INVITATIONAL.

Not a real championship bracket any more after they threw out an undefeated P5 program.

I didn't think that Disney/ESPN could get any sleazier, but they proved otherwise.

You’ve been sniffing too much of your model glue.

They simply went by the criteria that they said they would, nothing more, nothing less. They repeated that last week prior to the games just what those were.

Did FSU play a terrible schedule? Yes. Was it their fault that LSU and Clemson weren’t very good? No.

Is it a reasonable assumption that Ole Miss, a 2 loss team that didn’t win their division or conference goes undefeated with FSU’s schedule? Yes

Texas listened to the committee and ran Oklahoma State out of the building Saturday. FSU simply couldn’t to a team that isn’t very good. That justified their opinion that absent Travis FSU is a mediocre team.

One thing conspicuously absent in your bitching is that Texas jumped them as well. Did you forget that happened too?
