So if Bond hadn't caught that 4th down pass, would Alabama still be in the playoff?

If we're just picking the four best teams so wins and losses don't matter, then that one play wouldn't have mattered anyway right? 2 loss Alabama must have been a playoff lock over undefeated FSU.

"Yes. It was Auburn's superbowl, so you can't really take that at face value. Alabama was the better team."

Wins and losses matter. Alabama has 2 wins better than FSUs best one and their loss was to a team 10 spots better than any team FSU played.
FSUs best opponent was Alabama's 4th best opponent. If you wanna go straight line undefeateds and have Michigan, Washington, FSU, Liberty in the playoffs be my guest.
Sorry that triggers you.

Now do how many losses each team had.

Not melting, just asking sincere questions to see if Alabama fans will take their hands off the committee's shaft to answer honestly

You’re really citing a storied, heated rivalry game struggle win as a reason to leave Alabama out and not the fact they beat the damn defending national championship team last night? Wtf?

So which of Alabama's losses were better than Florida State's losses?

So Liberty should be in over Texas, too.
Got it.

You do know how the Iron Bowl goes when it’s in Jordan Hare right? That’s normal and expected for that game.

Liberty isn’t a power 5 conference champion, cock holster.

So your playoff is Michigan, Washington, FSU and Liberty then?
If so, alright. Don't agree but the logic is consistent.
