It’s fate he’s our head coach one day to bring my dumbass moment full circle.

Many, many years ago when we were both students at Arkansas, I was sitting in the stands at a spring game ripping on how awful of a QB he was. I may have been a touch drunk and less than quiet about it. After I finished my tirade, a guy behind us started talking to a woman sitting right behind me and over the course of their conversation she told him that her son was a QB in the team. Turns out it was Rhett’s mom. My buddy made us get up and leave after she said who her son was due to his sheer embarrassment. She was the better person and never said a word to us while I was going on and on.

We must now hire him to prove how wrong I was about him.

His mom is a class act as is his stepfather.

Of course they are. But ACC isn’t a good option. FSU wants out. Clemson want out.

Pretty sure I told Latarian last week, Lashlee isn’t, and won’t be an option. He got the new contract a week or so ago. Just hit his first bonus yesterday by winning the league.

Also, not everyone wants to coach in or around their hometown. It’ll never happen here.

I’m not into him, because from what I’ve seen he runs the dated Gus offense and didn’t seem to make too many changes over his time with it.

ACC isn’t a good conference, the big names want out. They aren’t getting the contracts that the Big10 and sec are. They went early to renew a tv contract because they were told it wasn’t going to be approved after a certain time. Basically ESPN was back room dealing trying to get unc and fsu into the sec.

This was all on different pods over the last few years.
