Alabama is the better team

On the surface the teams look evenly matched. But Carson Beck doesn't have the legs that Milroe has. He's going to take off like a golliwog stole a watermelon and it's going to be the difference in the game. We used to have that with Stetson. While Beck is the better pure passer, that element of the ground game is difference when you get two excellent teams facing off against each other, with all the marbles in the middle, for everything.

Alabama is missing Jace McClellan, and that is significant.

Georgia may be missing Brock Bowers, Ladd McConkey, and RaRa Thomas, who are UGA's #1, #2, #3 receivers this season. On defense, our version of Dallas Turner is Jamon Dumass-Johnson who is still out with a broken arm, and his stand-in is a true freshman CJ Allen. Hey, CJ is no scrub, when you are starting at UGA as a true freshman at middle linebacker, you are probably pretty damn good. But a true freshman is a true freshman. I see Alabama exploiting this.

UGA's run has to end at some point. I can't think of a more reasonable end to the run than this championship game.

I'm predicting the Tide Rolls.
