Yes. It's very much debatable. Some kids don't like to play for a-hole coaches who may not be there by the time he graduates.

Saban.
Great coach that knows how to develop talent for the next level and would put you in position to compete for championships when in college.

LSU fans saying Saban disgust me. Your LSUness should in no way allow you to post such things.

Question: Which coach would you most want your son to play for? Saban, Meyer, or Miles.
I would argue that I would rather my son play for Saban. With Saban you get discipline, talent development, and a great opportunity to play for championships.
With Miles, you get very little discipline, possible opportunity to compete for titles depending on the strength of his staff, and some talent development (did c.jones really get better this year?)
Finally w/meyer. Good talent development and chances to compete for titles, but the guy is absolutely classless (as evidenced by his propensity for running up the score when given the opportunity). Also has a lot of players arrested, so not enough discipline.

Saban. I love his demeanor moreso than any other coach.

that was my initial unedited post, but i didn't want it to sound like "which coach would take better care of your son on his team", which I think would eliminate Saban, who has a tendency to throw people under the bus.
