Exactly - additionally, the spy in that situation is a completely wasted defender because everyone else should be in the endzone with their eyes towards the quarterback following defenders with their peripheral vision.

You don't even have to sack the guy. Just making him unset his feet, take his eyes off of downfield for one instant, shift the pocket slightly, or let him see a flash of off color jersey in the corner of his vision.

Any of those things can impact the throw.
