Napier's scheme isn't an issue as much as his feel for the game and when to call certain plays is awful. There are a lot of similarities between his zone run scheme and guys like Shanahan and McDaniel. You just don't see them calling double reverse passes like Napier did against FSU. There's also some personnel issues with our O-Line, since you usually have smaller, quicker OL who can move in that scheme, and we recruit guys who are 6'7" 330 lbs exclusively.

But the bigger issue with Napier seems to be a lack of bandwidth. That is why I am more than ok with anyone taking over playcalling duties. The special teams miscues especially show that. He can't manage both the playcalling and the game overall. I honestly don't think anyone can do that super well anymore with how thin head coaches are spead.
